Capture videos from camcorders directly. Convert AVCHD to any format for editing or playing back.
I used to use "A.F.7 Merge your files" to merge mts and "tsmuxer" to sync video and sound. The freeware work great for 1080 50i videos for perfect audio and video synchronization. The merged mts files play well with CyberLink PowerDVD 9 on i7 Notebook with nvidia. However, with my new video camera Panasonic HDC-SD700, which make full HD 1050 50p videos with 28 Mbit/s AVCHD, Level 4.2, and 384 kbs AC3 5.1 Sound, the output mts files have a delay of sound in about 40ms comparing to the video.
While looking for the alternative to tsmuxer and A.F.7 Merge Your Files, I notice that Aunsoft Final Mate claims to lossless merge 1080 50p mts. I then evaluate the "Aunsoft Final Mate". The time stamp and sound is synced with native mts merge (Lossless Output). It works great on Notebook with CyberLink PowerDVD 9, and I can view the HD videos on PC.
For other users who would like to merge and view 1080 50p videos with AVCHD players like CyberLink PowerDVD 9, here I would like to share my experience with Aunsoft Final Mate to you.
1. Import 1080 50p mts files to Aunsoft Final Mate.
Run Aunsoft Final Mate as the best 1080 50p mts merger, click "Import" button to load the .mts files from Notebook. The mts merger also supports loading videos from camcorder directly. However, as I have already backup the files on my computer hard drive, I can browse the videos from AVCHD > STREAM to batch import the .mts files.
2. Merge 1080 50p mts for CyberLink PowerDVD 9.
While the .mts files are imported, you may notice that some video clips are merged into one movie. Aunsoft Final Mate will automatically merge the videos with the same format (frame rate, bit rate, video resolution).
If you want to separate the events with the same recording mode, just click on the clip on timeline, and click the delete button on timeline. Then create a blank movie and go to the File tab to drag and drop the video clips to the new movie. You will get one file for each movie ID.
3. Lossless output for merged Panasonic SD700 mts files.
After modifying the merged video sequence, click the "Export" button to merge Panasonic SD700 mts files without recoding. The joining process will take just a few minutes even for large files.
After the lossless joining mts for CyberLink PowerDVD 9, you can play the merged Panasonic SD700 mts files with perfect video and audio sync.
