How to Convert AVCHD Files to Apple ProRes 422 with Aunsoft Final Mate for Mac?
1. Import AVCHD files to Aunsoft Final Mate for Mac
You can either import AVCHD videos to the program via connected camcorder directly or you can browser videos from computer to add files to Aunsoft Final Mate for Mac.
2. Join AVCHD videos into one
Drag and drop AVCHD files from Camcorder Tab (imported through camcorder) or Resource Tab (videos in your computer) to Movies Tab to create a new movie. During the process, a pop-out window will show as following:
Choose “Create A Single Movie” to join AVCHD clips into one for converting to Apple ProRes.
3. Convert AVCHD movie to Apple ProRes 422 format
Click Export button and choose “Export into Editor”. Then choose Final Cut Pro catalog in Export format drop-down list. The second option from Final Cut Pro list is Apple ProRes 422 HQ format.
