However, we might have the concern about destroying the disks, or bad video quality while the disk is ruined under bad condition. It is a good idea to backup the movies from disk to hard drive for NAS, and play the movies anytime.
HDI Dune media player also supports playing the holiday videos you recorded with AVCHD camcorders via SD card slot. Moreover, you may also want to edit the holiday videos from camcorder before putting to HDI Dune media player for playback with HDTV.

1. Click the "Add" button to load camcorder videos, or click the "BD/DVD Folder" button to load Blu-ray or DVD disk from external BD-ROM.
2. Click the "Format" option and choose the format according to your editing application, e.g. Final Cut Pro > Apple ProRes 422(*.mov) when you have Final Cut Studio on your Mac; QuickTime Movie Format > Apple InterMediate Codec(AIC)(*.mov) for iMovie and Final Cut Express.
For making a full disk copy of Blu-ray disk, just click the "DiskCopy" button to copy the entire disk to hard drive. And the full disk copy will start immediately for copying BD movies to HDI Dune media player.
3. Click the convert button under the preview window to start converting camcorder videos to quicktime mov for Mac video editing, and then put the edited movies to HDI Dune media player.
