Step 1. Load Sony AVCHD MTS videos to Aunsoft MTS/M2TS Converter.
After transferring .mts files from Sony camcorder to computer hard drive via USB cable, run Aunsoft MTS/M2TS Converter as the Sony AVCHD MTS to WLMM converter, and click the "Add" button to load .mts videos.
Step 2. Choose WMV format.

Step 3. Convert Sony AVCHD MTS to WMV for WL Movie Maker.
Click the convert button under the preview window, the Sony AVCHD converter will start the conversion from Sony AVCHD MTS to WMV for Windows Live Movie Maker.
Tips:
You can also choose MPEG-2 (*.mpg) in Step 2. The output videos also play smoothly in Window Media Player without jumpy or choppy issue. After editing the videos, you would also bring the edited videos to Windows DVD Maker for burning to DVD.
You are allowed to deinterlace Sony AVCHD MTS files before the Sony AVCHD to WL Movie Maker (WMV) conversion.
