Manage the Movies in the program

Movies Tab: Used for creating movies. It allows you to create more than one movie and the created movies will display in this area. Movies can be edited on a timeline and then be exported. You can merge one video or several video clips to a movie. Now you will get to know three ways for creating a movie.

 

 

First Way to Create a Movie:

A: Create a Movie > For Lossless Output:
Click  button under Movies Tab to create or add a blank movie. By default, this movie is created for lossless output. You can choose “For Lossless output” from the down list of

 to create a blank movie for lossless output. After that, you can drag and drop videos with same format and parameters from Camcorder Tab or Resource Tab into this blank movie, then export to one single movie without recoding.

 

The following picture is a blank movie created for Lossless Output:

 

 

The following picture shows how to drag and drop videos from Resource tab or Camcorder tab into the blank movie for lossless output:

B: Create a Movie > For Conversion:
Choose “For Conversion” from the down list of .

After that, you can drag and drop videos from Camcorder Tab or Resource Tab into this blank movie, then convert the movie to another format.

The following picture shows how to drag and drop videos from Camcorder Tab or Resource Tab into the blank movie for Conversion:



 

Second Way to Create a Movie:
A: Create a Movie > For Lossless Output:
Click “File” in menu bar and choose “Create a Movie for Lossless Output”. A new blank movie will be created in Movies Tab. After that, please follow previous steps to drag and drop video files from Camcorder Tab or Resource Tab into this blank movie for lossless output.

 

B: Create a Movie > For Conversion:
Click “File” in menu bar andchoose “Create a Movie For Conversion”. A new blank movie will be created in Movies Tab. After that, just follow previous steps to drag and drop video files from Camcorder Tab or Resource Tab into this blank movie for later conversion.

 

Third way to Create a Movie: (Only for conversion)
Create a Movie > For Conversion:
Directly drag and drop one video file or multiple videos from Camcorder Tab or Resource Tab into Movies tab to create a movie for conversion, but not for lossless output.

The following picture shows how to drag and drop one video file to create a movie:

 

The following picture shows how to drag multiple video files to create a movie:
When you drag and drop multiple video files from Camcorder Tab or Resource Tab to Movies Tab, you will get a popup message saying” You want to create a single movie or create a movie for each file? “



If you choose Create a Single Movie and click OK, you will create only one movie with multiple video files merged as following:

 

If you choose Create a Movie for Each File and click OK, you will create multiple movies with each movie for each video file:
Fourth way to Create a Movie: (Only for Lossless Output)
Create a Movie > For Lossless Output:
Directly drag and drop one video file or multiple files from Camcorder Tab or Resource Tab into Timeline to create a movie for lossless output, but not for conversion.

The following picture shows how to drag and drop video files to timeline for creating a movie for lossless output:

 

 


Tip: If you want to add multiple video files to timeline for creating a new movie for lossless output, please make sure to drag video files with same format and parameters otherwise you will get an error message as following:

 

 



You can right click movie to further manage movies:

 

 

Duplicate Selected Movie: Click to duplicate the movie you selected.
Delete Movie: Click to delete the movie you selected.
Rename Movie: Click to rename the movie name you selected.
Clear All Movies: Click to clear all the movies under Movies Tab.

Tip: You can not move up and down the movies in Movies Tab.
