If you experience some problems when using our program, please take a look at Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) first. FAQ lists the most common problems you might come across about our program and provides you the most professional answers. It is strongly recommended that you exploit it completely before starting your magic journey in the digital world.

  • 1. What dose FLV refers to?
    FLV is the abbreviation of flash video and it delivers video over the Internet using Adobe Flash Player 6 or above. Flash Video referred to a proprietary file format, having the extension FLV after the Flash Player 9 updates. You do not need install any other additional programs on your PC while it is played on the web page.
  • 2. Can I change the output settings? How to change settings of my conversion?
    You can first select a FLV file in the file list and then click detailed settings; you can change the values of all the available parameters.
  • 3. Where can I found the output files after the conversion?
    You can locate a folder on you local hard disk and go to that folder to view the out video after the conversion completes.
  • 4. I found that the video quality is not good enough and even the audio is not OK sometimes. Will it affect the final output files?
    Our software is just a conversion tool. The preview function would be limited by certain files which are not in common codec. So the preview of the original file would not be perfect in certain conditions.
  • 5. I have many files to convert. How can I import them simultaneously?
    First you need to locate a folder for all the FLV files you want to convert to video of other formats. And then click the button “FLV from a folder, open the folder you specified and import all the FLV files with CTRL + A and then click “Open”, all the FLV files will be imported into our FLV Converter.
  • 6. After I make some proper modifications on settings, is it possible to save it as a single profile so that I can use it directly each time?
    You can only edit the profile you defined all by yourself and you have no access to edit the default profiles the program has when it is first launched.
  • 7. I just want a clip/segment of my video files. Is it possible?
    Sure, you can do this. Check the box “Trim Movie” and then drag the two icons at the loading bar to define a start time and end time, You can get the segment or part if you don’t want the entire part of the movie.
  • 8. Is it possible that I can play the output FLV files on my PC with certain player program?
    There are certain available players that you can find out on Internet. Please do a search through Google.
  • 9. When I play the generated file, there are black borders on the screen. Can the image be resized, so that it would stretch to the edges?
    Please click the “Help” menu and choose “Settings”, and you may face a drop-down box for the video. Please make sure that the “Stretch” option is selected and the image would be stretched.
