The Sony HDR-SR1 uses the AVCHD format to record 1080i HD video on a 30GB disk rather than DVD disc. I was wondering if MTS can be imported to iMovie to get further editing with all kinds of video processing functions. Then I did many researches and finally found MTS files from my Sony HDR SR1 were always not able to be imported to iMovie as a result.
