Here is a guide to show you how to import MXF to Sony Vegas Pro 12 for editing.
Step1: Load MXF material to Aunsoft TransMXF Pro for Mac
Click "add video" icon or drag and drop MXF files into file area.
Step2: select WMV (VC-1)(*.wmv) as output format
Tip: You can manage Canon MXF files by saved MXF clips in one folder on mac HDD, so that you can add a MXF folder to TransMXF for Mac directly.
Click the "format" and choose the "Adobe Premiere/Sony Vegas -> WMV (VC-1)(*.wmv) " files as the output favorable format for editing in Sony Vegas Pro 12.
Step3: Set audio and video profile
Before you import MXF footage to Vegas Pro 12, you can set video and audio profile via clicking “setting” icon.
The default profile will keep high quality of output WMV for Vegas Pro 12 . You can click the triangle icon to set profile for specific video and audio qualtity needs for editing in Sony Vegas.
Tip: if you have several MXF files, you can click orange triangle icon to view profiles of different task files.
Step 4: Click "Convert" icon to convert Canon XF100/XF105/XF300/XF305 MXF
After Canon MXF file to WMV conversion completed, you can click "Open output folder" icon to locate the output MPEG-2 videos.
