Step 1: Import AVCHD video footage from camcorder to Final Mate

Turn on your camcorder and connect it to PC with USB cable. Then launch Aunsoft Final Mate to easily capture & import AVCHD MTS or M2TS video footage. The inserted camcorder wizard makes it easy to import AVCHD files from camcorder to the program. Imported files will be listed in Camcorder Tab in the main interface of Final Mate.

Step 2: Join, Split/Cut AVCHD files on Timeline

In order to join or split AVCHD files to create your own movie, first of all, you have to create a blank movie for lossless output with no conversion involved.

Click on Create Movie button and choose “For Lossless Output”.

A new blank movie will be created in Movies Tab. Directly drag and drop AVCHD video clips from Camcorder Tab (imported from Camcorder) to the blank movie to join AVCHD clips into one movie.

To split or cut out unwanted scenes, just move the Vernier in the Timeline to the time point of Movie Track you want to cut, then click on  to split the movie. Click to select unwanted part and delete with Delete button.
