Canon VIXIA HFS10 is currently the top-of-the-line Canon consumer camcorder. It takes very good quality full HD video (one of the best among consumer level camcorders). I have owned a small wedding videography company for 5 years and after using this camera for a week I am incredibly pleased with it.
Company's anniversary approaching, I would like to hold a meaningful activity. In that special day, I will show my interesting and nice videos recorded from Canon VIXIA HFS10 to others. However, I have a puzzle about how to join or combine several AVCHD files into a single one so that I could play them without interruptions. (As you know, Canon VIXIA HFS10 videos are in the format of AVCHD)
It is said that there are many video joiners on the market, so I search online and find out this one called Aunsoft Final Mate which supports merging several m2ts/mts files into a single one without recoding and losing any quality. Now I will show you a fast way to merge raw Canon HF R100 MTS recordings into one file without conversion.
Step 1. Capture native MTS files from Canon VIXIA HF S10 camcorder to Aunsoft Final Mate.
Run Aunsoft Final Mate as the fast AVCHD MTS joiner without recoding, and use USB cable to connect your Camcorder to PC. Then follow the camcorder wizard to import videos. After selecting the Import option, you will face the window to choose the video clips for importing to Aunsoft Final Mate. And the default option is to create movie with files in same format (fps, codec, bit rate, etc.) (Then the Canon VIXIA HF S10 MTS will be merged into one movie on a timeline.)
Step 2. Merge/join multiple Canon VIXIA HF S10 AVCHD MTS files without conversion.
Click the Export button and then choose Lossless Output and click the OK button, the MTS/MTS Joiner will start merging large Canon VIXIA HF S10.MTS files into one MTS file without conversion at the fast speed. The non-conversion process will prevent loss of quality when merging Canon HF S10 AVCHD MTS files.
