Does your HD camcorder generates so many AVCHD clips and you are looking for a tool to merge to a single file? Step 1: Import/Capture Sony AVCHD videos to Aunsoft Final Mate
Two ways to import videos: you can directly capture/copy/extract AVCHD MTS or M2TS video clips from camcorder to program o you can browser videos from computer.
- Capture Sony AVCHD videos from camcorder.
To load videos from camcorder, just connect the camcorder to computer with USB cable. Run Aunsoft Final Mate and choose to follow wizard. Select “Import” instead of Backup to quickly capture videos from camcorder. You can find imported videos under Camcorder tab in the main interface of Final Mate.
- Import Sony AVCHD videos from computer.
If you have already backup all your video recordings in your computer, you can follow the step below to add MTS/M2TS files to Final Mate:
Choose File > Add Files, or directly click the Import button to browse the camcorder video files.
Step 2: Merge/Join Sony AVCHD MTS/M2TS Video Clips and Edit
After you successfully import AVCHD MTS M2TS video clips to Final Mate, you can drag AVCHD files to Movie tab. There will be a pop-out window shown in the screenshot to confirm your purpose. Choose "Create A Single Movie" and all the MTS or M2TS videos will be merged as one single movie.
Note: If you want to merge AVCHD files without any re-encoding, please make sure that basic parameters of your source files including resolution, frame rate is the same. Only in this way can Final Mate combine AVCHD clips into one AVCHD file. If basic parameters of your source AVCHD files do not match, you are also able to join these clips but you have to convert combined movie to other format, for example MP4, AVI, MKV, etc.
