iPhone 5: The New Leader of High-end Mobile Phone?

Recently Apple has held the smartphone market by the iPhone 4 which is released by the year 2010. However, it is reported that Cupertino will target the high-end market with the iPhone 5 this fall. Meanwhile, Nokia is focusing on developing the new Mobile System, which is so called Windows Mobile operating system. In other words, this could also become a great opportunity for Nokia to push higher-end mobile devices during its transition to Windows Phone.

Rumors about the next version of iPhone have been circulating ever since the last one came out. Besides many supposed features it'll have, the appearance of iPhone 5 has been one of the most popular topics around us. In consideration of the friability of glass material shell, iPhone 5 is supposed to continue to use plastic housing. And its support of 1080p HD shooting is likely to attract more attention from shutterbugs.

Owning the High End, but Little Else?

As one of the high-end mobile phone producers, Apple has done its best to hold the main position of this market with its so expensive products like iPhone 4 and the next iPhone 5. But the mobile market is much more than just the high-end. Cheaper phones on prepaid plans make up a good chunk of phone sales worldwide, and the iPhone, in its current form, isn't made for those markets.

For majority of iPhone users, the appearance of iPhone 5 will not give them a surprise. Instead, them think iPhone 5 is a just a simple update of iPhone 4, because many so called the new features are said to be of no use for general users. So would you like to spend more hundreds of dollars to have an update for your iPhone?
