MTS/M2TS Converter
A professional MTS/M2TS Converter, MTS/M2TS file joiner. Convert/merge MTS/M2TS videos. After choosing from Canon 7D, Sony NEX-VG10 and Panasonic Lumix DMC-GH1, I bought Lumix GH1 as my first camera. I notice that Lumix GH 1 provides two kinds of video formats, .mts and .mov. The .mts file is compressed according to AVCHD standard in 1920 x 1080 and 1280 x 720. The .mov file is recorded with QuickTime Motion JPEG in 1280 x 720 at 30fps, 848 x 480 at 30fps, 640 x 480 at 30fps and 320 x 240 at 30fps.
I took some videos with the new Panasonic GH1 camera for 1920x1080 AVCHD videos, and would like to edit them on Windows Movie Maker. However, Windows Movie Maker does not support the AVCHD files from Lumix GH1. I got Aunsoft MTS/M2TS Converter to perform fast AVCHD conversion from DMC-GH1 to WMV for Windows Movie Maker. It will also deinterlace 1080i movies for smooth playback on Windows PC.
