How to convert and play TiVo shows to Mvix Media Player?
This guide includes 3 parts:
Part 1: Transfer TiVo shows from TiVo DVR to PC
Part 2: Convert TiVo to Mvix Media Player Divx or Xvid AVI or WMV.
Part 3: Transfer converted TiVo shows to Mvix Media Player.
Part 1: Transfer TiVo shows from TiVo DVR to PC
To transfer TiVo shows to PC, you need to download TiVo Desktop Software. When your TiVo is connected to your home network, TiVo Desktop provides you with a list of available shows for transferring to your PC.
Part 2: Convert TiVo to Mvix Media Player Divx or Xvid AVI or WMV.
After you transfer TiVo files to your PC, you can convert them to Mvix Media Player Divx or Xvid AVI or WMV format. First of all, download TiVo to Mvix Converter and launch the application. Then follow the steps below:
Step 1: Import TiVo files to TiVo to Mvix Media Player Converter
Enter Media Access Key for your TiVo files from “Option” button and then load TiVo files to the TiVo to Mvix Converter.
Step 2: Choose Mvix Media Player Divx or Xvid AVI or WMV output format
After you finished editing, you then choose output format from “Format” drop-down list and specify the format Divx/Xvid AVI or WMV under Common Video or HD AVI or HD WMV under HD Video profile among the options.
Tip: You can click Settings to adjust video/audio codec, video size, video/audio bitrate, audio channels, etc for better quality. You can custom the profile if you wish to.
Step 3: Convert TiVo shows to Mvix Media Player Divx or Xvid AVI or WMV
Click “Convert” button to start converting TiVo to Mvix Divx/Xvid AVI or WMV. Check “Merge into one file” to join all TiVo files to one output Mvix Media Player Divx/Xvid AVI or WMV file before start conversion.
Part 3: Transfer converted TiVo shows to Mvix Media Player.
After converting your TiVo shows to Mvix Media Player, you will get AVI or WMV file(s) in destination folder. Then you can transfer your videos to Mvix Media Player for playing.
Now you are free to enjoy your TiVo recordings on Mvix Media Player whenever you like.
