1. Choose the Output File Format and Saving Place:
This program allows you to set the output format and location. Choose the output format under the drop-down list of “Format”. At the same time, click button "Browse" to specify an output folder on your Mac OS X.
2. Advanced Settings:
The button "Settings" is designed for the professional users to do the advanced settings.
Format: Choose the output file format you want.
Video Section: You can set Codec Name, Bit Rate, Video Size, and Frame Rate to optimize the quality of the video.
Audio Section: You can set Codec Name, Bit Rate, Channels and Sample Rate to make the quality better.
Video CodecName
Set the video codec for the encoding engine uses. It is the methods of compression for videos, e.g., WMV, DivX, XviD, h.264, MPEG, etc and could related to the output format you select.
Video Size (pix)
Set suitable frame size or screen resolution for playback on different devices. The format is 'width x height' like 320x240, 640x480 or 1920x1080 pixels.
Video BitRate (kbps)
Set video bitrate (in kbit/s). It is very important for relating to the output video quality and file size---the larger the bit rate you choose, the better the video quality and the bigger the output file you will get, and vice versa.
Video FrameRate (fps)
Set how many frames should be displayed per second (FPS). Choosing higher frame rate, the video you played back could be more smoothly, and usually it is enough to select 25--30 frame per second, for it can provide a very good viewing experience for you.
Audio CodecName
Set the audio codec for the encoding engine uses. It is the methods of compression for audios, e.g., AC3, AAC, MP3, etc and could related to the output format you select.
Audio BitRate (bps)
Set the audio bitrate in bits per second.
Audio SampleRate (hz)
Set the audio sampling frequency (the number of samples per second such as 44100 Hz).
Audio Channels
Set audio channels. The commonly used channels for digital audios are 1 (Mono), 2 (Stereo) and 5.1 (Dolby Digital).
