After the conversion from videos, Blu-rays or DVDs to Samsung Galaxy S MP4 for display, the users could still be confused about the next step: How can I transfer or copy the movies and musics to Samsung Galaxy S? How to sync the movies/musics to my Samsung GT-I9000. Now in order to help these Samsung Galaxy S I9000 users to put and transfer their videos or musics from PC to Galaxy S successfully, just write this short guide to show you the way.

Transfer Copy Movie to Samsung Galaxy S

Step1: Prepare your movies and musics. Then ensure that Samsung Kies is installed on your PC, which is a 140MB program that allows you to sync stuff to your phone, as well as allowing wired tethering. (And you can download it here: Samsung Kies.)

Step2: Then connect your Samsung Galaxy S on to your computer via USB. (Ensure that your memory card is inserted if you want to store movies/musics in the card.)

Step3: Take you phone, in Idle mode, open the application list and select Settings → About phone → USB settings → Mass storage. (There are four modes like Samsung Kies, Media Player, Mass Storage, and PC internet. You just want to copy/paste files on the phone, so just select Mass Storage.)

Step4: Select mount button to mount you phone to PC. Once mounted, on the computer, open the drive that represents your device. It should be in My Computer/Computer for Windows users. (You can select either the memory card drive, or the phone drive, depending on which drive you are saving the movies/musics to.)

Step5: Create a folder named Movie or Music in the root folder on the Samsung Galaxy S. (This is just for organizational purposes, it is optional.)

Step5: Transfer or Copy the movies/video or musics from PC into the Movie or Music folder.

Step6: After copying movies or musics to Samsung Galaxy S, unmount the removable disk (that is, the connected phone) as required by your computer’s operating system to safely remove your phone.

Now the movies and musics can be played on your Samsung Galaxy S using the Gallery application.

Note: There are three situations you can not play the videos on Samsung Galaxy S successfully.
1. You movie formats are not supported by your Samsung Galaxy S, maybe they are MKV, TiVo, VOB, TP, TS, MPEG-2, M2TS, AVI, ASF, MXF, MOV, etc, so you need to convert the movies into Samsung Galaxy S compatible format H.264 MP4. Aunsoft Samsung Galaxy S Video Converter can help you. And this article can tell you how to convert/play video to Samsung Galaxy S.

2. You movie size is over 2GB. The Samsung Galaxy S does not like video file sizes over 2GB. So just lower your video size.

3. Your source video is over 480*800, this resolution can not play back on Samsung Galaxy S. So you must be sure to set the width and height to a maximum of 480 *800.

Now have you already know how to transfer or copy movies and musics to Samsung Galaxy S? Hope you have a pleasure movie enjoyment.
