Here is the general step-by-step guide for converting and joining 1080p MP4 videos to HDTV. The sample videos are from Sony Bloggie MHS-CM5.
Step 1. Load Sony videos to Aunsoft Video Converter.
Copy and transfer HD videos from Sony Bloggie camera to PC hard drive, run Aunsoft Video Converter as the fast Sony Bloggie Touch video converter, and then click the "Add" button to load 1080p .mp4 videos. Alternatively, you can drag and drop to add video to program UI.
Step 2. Choose HD MPEG-2 format and join videos.
Click the "Format" option, and choose HD Video > MPEG-2 HD Video(*.mp4) as output format. The Sony Bloggie video converter will transcode 1080p MP4 to MPEG-2 for HDTV in 1920x1080 resolution. You may also choose MPEG-TS HD Video(*.ts) as the output format for HDTV.
Tick the checkbox for "Merge into one file" beside the format option, and the videos on the queue list will be combined into a single file as output.
Step 3. Edit Sony Bloggie MP4 videos.
Click the "Editor" button, and then you can crop the video or trim video with selected length from beginning to the end. For trimming video, you can use the slide bars under the timeline, or go to the Trim tab to enter exact start time and end time, or even click the Set-in and Set-out button when the video is playing.
Step 4. Convert and merge Sony Bloggie MP4 to MPG for HDTV.
Click the convert button under the preview window, and the Sony Bloggie video joiner/converter will start converting 1080p MP4 to HD MPEG-2 for HDTV right away.
After the conversion, you can play the edited Bloggie videos on HDTV continuously as the video clips are joined into one single file for playback.
