If you face any problem editing Panasonic proprietary AVCHD Lite video footage in Windows Movie Maker (WMM), the below workflow will help you edit 720p videos.
Step 1. Load AVCHD Lite files to Aunsoft Video Converter.
After transferring AVCHD Lite files from Lumix DMC-ZS7 camera to PC hard drive disk, run the top-notch AVCHD Lite to WMM converter. Click the "Add" button to import batch of 720p .mts videos, or drag and drop the AVCHD Lite files from folder to program UI.
Step 2. Choose AVI format.
Click the "Format" option and navigate to Common Video > AVI-MSMPEG4-V3 (*.avi) as output format. The Panasonic Lumix AVCHD Lite converter will convert HD 720p MTS to AVI for editing.
Actually, Windows Movie Maker supports other formats like .mpg, .wmv, .asf. You can choose from the options available in the Common Video group.
Step 3. Convert Panasonic ZS7 AVCHD Lite to AVI for Movie Maker.
Click the convert button under the preview window, and the batch conversion from Panasonic Lumix AVCHD Lite to AVI for Windows Movie Maker will start right away.
Soon after the conversion, just click the open button on the program UI to locate the output videos. Then it is easy to import HD video footage to Windows Movie Maker.
